Our priority is to provide a personal and attentive introduction service that introduces our Clients to experienced Personal Carers of the highest quality. We are very aware that no requirements are the same. Client’s needs are always our priority.
“She is empathetic, genuine and full of humour. She has a smile on her face all the time and just keeps going even when it gets tough”
“Wonderfully patient, kind and utterly professional”
Once a Client’s needs have been established, it is usually possible to fit their needs into two categories of care. However if this is not possible we will fully discuss an individual’s requirements and offer a more tailored package where appropriate.
We listen to our Clients about their requirements and spend time handpicking the best Personal Carer we can for them. Making sure that a Personal Carer's skills and experience will complement a Client’s individual needs. By spending time matching our Clients with our Personal Carers we are able to ensure we are introducing the best Personal Carer possible, who will be able to offer support and companionship throughout each engagement.
“Hardworking, reliable and very caring”
“As well as being an excellent carer, she has a cheerful nature making her a joy to have around”
Our selection process is very thorough. Every applicant is required to complete a comprehensive application form and suitable canidates are then interviewed by telephone. Those who are sucessful then attend a face to face interview with our Managing Director and are DBS police checked. We check all references provided and ensure that all necessary training is current and valid. In addition each carer is required to hold current Personal Carer insurance. We have a rigourous selction process and on average only one out of ten applicants registers with us.
“A first class carer and wonderful friend”
"Her ability to relate to people irrespective of age, gender or ability is remarkable"
Whilst we are not a Nursing Agency and Personal Carers can not carry out tasks that are deemed to be 'nursing tasks', Clients can usually arrange for a District Nurse to visit to provide nursing tasks if required.
"She is a very hard working woman and will always go the extra mile to ensure that those she cares for receive the best standard of emotional and physical care."
“Without her care I would not have recovered so quickly”
"She enriched my mother's life greatly and anyone would be blessed to employ her.I hope if I ever need care at home, I will have someone like her"
All our carers are thoroughly vetted so that we can be confident about the introductions we make.
Why choose us?
The Carers we introduce have a wealth of experience and come from a variety of different working backgrounds.
Some are retired nurses or midwifes and some have a background in mental health work or social work. Over 65% of Carers registered with us, have some form of specialist training and experience in areas such as Parkinson’s, Dementia or Alzheimer’s to name but a few. All have good life experience and skills that help make them suitable to be Live in Carers.
All of our Carers have to evidence several years of live in care experience before we will even interview them. Our selection process is very stringent so that we can be assured that all the Personal Carers that we introduce to Clients are of the highest calibre.
In addition to validating references and training certification, we place significant emphasis on finding out about the life experiences and interests of our Carers. This information is invaluable when we are trying to match the right Carer for our Clients.
We believe that in order for live in care to work at its best, the Carer and Client should, where possible, share common interests, as the Carer will be someone with whom you share your daily life and home.
