Why Otus Live-in Care?

Providing you with live in care in your own home by introducing you to the highest quality experienced Personal Carers.

Our priority is to provide the best quality experienced Personal Carers to suit our Client’s specific needs.

Every carer we introduce is interviewed personally by our Managing Director as well as being CRB police checked. We check all references provided and ensure that all necessary training is current and valid. In addition each Personal Carer is required to hold valid Personal Carer insurance. All our carers have years of experience as Live in Carers.

The most important question we ask ourselves when selecting Personal Carers is " Would I like this person to look after my loved one?"

We are dedicated to help provide support for those who want to remain living in their own home independently and enjoy life, but with the security that they have someone living with them to offer support and provide companionship. At Otus Live in Care, our priority is not to simply find a Carer for our Clients, but to provide an introduction service that is personally tailored to an individual’s own needs and requirements. We provide our Clients with the highest quality Personal Carers and companions with the specific skills and experience to care for and support our Clients.

All our Personal Carers are thoroughly vetted with their training and experience validated prior to any introduction being made. Please visit our Client Information page for details about how we select the best Personal Carers.

We are here to listen to you about what you, or loved ones need. We will help you with the difficulties that can be associated in finding the right live in care, whether it is in the short or long term. Otus provides a service that treats people as individuals. The Personal Carers we introduce will not intrude on personal life or limit independence, but are there to improve quality of life and help Clients enjoy all life has to offer.

Additionally we are able to introduce Personal Carers as escorts to accompany Clients on holidays such as cruises or to events such as weddings or other special occasions. We also are happy to introduce carers for respite or short term live in care.

We provide a free service guide which outlines our services and includes recommendations and suggestions for Clients to ensure the Personal Carer-Client relationship is a positive experience at all times.

We are members of United Kingdom Home Care Assosiation (UKHCA).This is the national professional association and representative association for organisations who provide care, including nursing care, to people in their own homes. As well as having our own values and quality standards we abide by UKHCA codes of practice.

Paul Isaacs

Paul Isaacs - Managing Director Otus Live in Care Ltd

I have extensive experience of working in the care and healthcare sector, as an Operations Director working for UK wide leading providers such as Nestor Healthcare Plc and more recently with Saga Homecare. I have also run several bespoke market leading live in care businesses, including Country Cousins and have an intimate knowledge and understanding of client needs and expectations.

In my opinion it is the smaller care businesses, such as ourselves that are truly able to provide an individual bespoke service to both their Clients and Carers. We spend a great deal of time finding people with the right skills, training and experience before then introducing them to our Clients.

My motivation for starting Otus Live in Care was to deliver a bespoke customer focused service that makes a real difference to the quality of life of both our clients and their families. My desire is to alleviate the stress and concerns that are normally encountered when seeking care or companionship for a friend or family member.

From my experience in the sector the longer people are able to stay in their own homes surrounded by memories, friends, and family, the greater their quality of life and indeed life expectancy.

We all work hard throughout our lives; many look forward to enjoying their retirement in their own home. If our service can help people maintain this level of happiness, then that is a true achievement and ultimately the reason for Otus’ existence.

Paul is also a Trustee Director for the charity Carers Support Service, who provide valuable and much needed support and guidance for individuals and families of those caring for their own family and friends.

We are more than happy to discuss your care needs at any time that is convenient to you, please feel to call us 7 days a week.
